“Legacy Assets”

Posted in Big Media, New Economy, Obama Administration, language at 14:08 by Toby Petzold

Is that the new term? I just heard Robert Gibbs use it in his daily briefing, so I guess the Obama people are trying to move away from the unlovely “toxic assets” to something that more truthfully reflects their need to blame everything on Bush.

Have you noticed that? Obama enjoys blaming people. He especially loves blaming Dick Cheney. Oh, and Rush Limbaugh, too. But it’s an essential part of his character: he’s “inherited” all of these problems. It’s just terribly frustrating, as he told 60 Minutes this past weekend, that he has to deal with all of these things that happened years before he showed up. What a child!

It’s children, after all, who can’t understand that the world existed before they did. The world, as we adults know it, is one great legacy that must be dealt with and lived through. And it cannot be “blamed” on anyone.

Obamachrist had better get it together and stop trying to impose his fantasy world of Marxist gibberish on the rest of us.

UPDATE: Apparently, “legacy assets” is not a new term, but neither is it one that can be used interchangeably with “toxic assets.” In any event, Obama’s people should probably stick with “toxic assets” —especially in light of how much has been paid for its use.
