Cory Booker

Posted in America, racism at 10:00 by Toby Petzold

I watched the execrable Bill Moyers talk with the Mayor of Newark, New Jersey last night —and I thought that the young man (38, like me) was enormously impressive. I love his idea that if there is a Statue of Liberty, there ought to also be a Statue of Obligation or Responsibility or however he put it. Fantastic stuff. And he doesn’t shy away from sharing his erudition, either, white though that is.

The crypto-Marxism of Barack Obama is an anti-American absurdity compared to what I find in Cory Booker’s professed belief system.

Oh, and Booker doesn’t like the post-racial transcendence delusion that the liberal elites idealize; rather, he likes he diversity thing based on common values and goals. No homogenization for America. I quite agree.
